SolarEast launched its smart manufacturing project with a clear objective: to build a fully digital, automated, and professionally managed production system. By integrating seven core systems—APS, MES, WMS, QMS, SRM, SCADA, and EDO—the company aims to optimize planning, production, procurement, quality control, and warehouse operations under one unified digital framework.
The project officially kicked off in August 2023, beginning with blueprint planning and cross-department interviews. The first phase went live on October 25, 2023, focusing on core system deployment and foundational process transformation. By April 2024, the upgrade was successfully implemented across three factories in Lianyungang and Shunde, marking a significant milestone in the digital transformation journey.
The smart manufacturing upgrade has improved cross-functional collaboration, increased transparency across supply chains, and significantly reduced production delays and quality issues. Automated scheduling via the APS system, real-time quality tracking with QMS, and enhanced warehouse accuracy through WMS have empowered SolarEast with stronger delivery performance and cost efficiency.
SolarEast will continue expanding its smart factory model across all production bases, focusing on iterative system optimization and cross-plant digital synergy. The goal is to build a unified, data-driven manufacturing ecosystem that supports product innovation, ESG goals, and international customer service excellence.
