On September 14, 2023, Mr. Xin Changxing, Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, visited SolarEast during his inspection tour of Ganyu and Haizhou Districts in Lianyungang City. The visit was part of the second phase of thematic education on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, focusing on promoting the high-quality development of local enterprises in the clean energy sector.
During the inspection, Secretary Xin was accompanied by senior provincial and municipal officials, including Mr. Shen Jianrong, Director and Party Secretary of the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission; Mr. Zhu Aixun, Director of the Jiangsu Department of Industry and Information Technology; and Mr. Xing Zhengjun, Mayor of Lianyungang. The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Xu Xinjian, Chairman of SolarEast.
Chairman Xu introduced the company’s development journey, core innovations, and comprehensive clean energy solutions across solar thermal technologies, air-source heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, and energy storage. Secretary Xin toured the Clean Energy Exhibition Hall and engaged in discussions on energy-saving and carbon-reduction practices. He emphasized that the promotion of new energy products should rely on both technological leadership and public education.
Secretary Xin encouraged enterprises to take a “two-pronged approach”: developing products that are both technologically advanced and market-ready, while expanding real-world application scenarios to ensure that green and clean energy solutions benefit millions of households.
Secretary Xin further noted that the principles of innovation, coordination, green development, openness, and sharing—as emphasized in General Secretary Xi Jinping’s economic philosophy—should guide the modernization of China’s industrial sectors. He affirmed that SolarEast is well-positioned to contribute meaningfully to the national strategies of carbon neutrality and rural revitalization.
