On March 26, 2025, SolarEast successfully held the 66th session of its “SolarEast Lecture Hall” training series, titled “Precision Application and Compliance Implementation of Noise Reduction Technology in Air Source Heat Pumps.”
The training adopted a hybrid format of offline main venue + online dual-base connection, covering over 180 key R&D engineers and front-line technicians from Lianyungang and Shunde production bases.
The session was led by Dr. Zhang Honglie, Director of the Noise and Vibration R&D Department. He provided an in-depth explanation of key noise sources in air source heat pumps—compressors, fans, and pipe vibration—and analyzed their acoustic characteristics.
Using real experimental data and market cases, Dr. Zhang introduced rapid noise-source detection methods and emphasized technical strategies for controlling low-frequency structure-borne noise and high-frequency airborne noise.
Especially notable was a case study from the 9P Low-Noise Project, where system noise was reduced by 3dB through targeted improvements like adjusting fan speed and optimizing compressor foot pads.
This training effectively integrated theory and application, enabling employees to understand noise generation mechanisms and master full-process noise control from product design to manufacturing.
It provided solid technical support for developing quieter, more reliable heat pump systems tailored to market demands.
SolarEast will continue to invest in internal training, foster cross-base knowledge sharing, and strengthen R&D for quiet, high-efficiency air source heat pumps.
BBy enhancing professional training, we aim to empower employees and deliver more competitive heat pump solutions to global markets.
